Induction Program Ist year MBA batch 2019-21
An induction programme for students of MBA (2019-21) was organized from 1st to 14th of August 2019. The inaugural session of the Induction Programme was held on 1st August 2019 in the Seminar Hall of the Raman Block.
The Chief Guest of the Session was Mr Raj Goel , President and Business Head , Bajaj Electricals and the Guest of Honour was MrVinay Gupta , Executive Director of Ghaziabad Management Association. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Mr Raghunandan Kansal (Advisor, ABES EC), Prof Vijay A Athavale (Director, ABES EC), Ms Rajshree Goel (Manager, ABES EC) and Prof R K Singhal (HOD-MBA).
The programme began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries and singing of Saraswati Vandana. The guests were then welcomed by presentation of saplings.
MOS Ms Devika Chaudhary formally welcomed the students and guests and then invited the Chief Guest to address the audience. The Chief Guest Mr Raj Goel addressed the students and said that the new generation should seek inspiration from the older generation. He also said that one should listen to everyone, but should take a decision based on his /her own judgment. According to MrGoel tolerance and patience were important qualities to attain success.
Guest of Honour was Mr Vinay Gupta , Executive Director of Ghaziabad Management Association then addressed the gathering . He said that students should try to develop their talents and should learn to make sacrifices and work hard in order to achieve success. He also spoke about the importance of self-induced discipline and empowering oneself.
Dr Vijay A Athavale Director, ABES EC, then addressed the gathering and reminded students about the importance of teamwork and looking at an issue from the perspective of others.
Mr Raghunandan Kansal , Advisor, ABES EC spoke about the importance of discipline, honesty and decision making skills for becoming a good manager. He also stressed the importance of improving ones level of intelligence.
Ms Rajshree Goel , Manager (Strategy & Planning), ABES EC, addressed the students and told them that they should follow their passions and should not accept forced choices. She also said that there was a lack of innovation and start-ups in India, as a result there were more job seekers than job creators.
Dr R K Singhal, HOD(MBA) then addressed the gathering . He said that students should begin with focusing on their strengths and should believe in achieving excellence. He also suggested that students should learn to innovate and be original.
At the end of the programme Dr Abhijit Das delivered the vote of thanks.
